About the role

Cilla And Dees Hair Salon is seeking a talented and passionate Hairdresser to join our team on a full-time basis at our Parkdale location. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your creative skills, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the success of our vibrant salon. As a Hairdresser, you will be at the heart of delivering exceptional hair services, ensuring every client leaves feeling confident and satisfied with their experience.

What you'll be doing

• Providing a full range of hairdressing services including cutting, styling, colouring, and treatments to a diverse clientele

• Consulting with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and hair care needs

• Applying industry-leading techniques and best practices to achieve desired results whilst maintaining hair health and integrity

• Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and salon cleanliness in accordance with health and safety regulations

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat bookings and salon loyalty

• Recommending appropriate hair care products and treatments to clients based on their individual needs

• Keeping up to date with current trends, styles, and techniques in the hairdressing industry

• Collaborating effectively with team members to create a welcoming and professional salon environment

• Managing your own appointment schedule efficiently and professionally

What we're looking for

• A recognised hairdressing qualification or relevant apprenticeship completion

• Proven experience as a Hairdresser in a professional salon environment

• Strong technical skills in cutting, styling, colouring, and chemical treatments

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships

• A creative eye with the ability to adapt styles to suit individual client needs and preferences

• Knowledge of current hair trends and an enthusiasm for continuous professional development

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality results

• Understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to hair and beauty services

• Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude towards teamwork

• Experience with salon management software or appointment booking systems is advantageous
