Senior Wholesale Merchandise Planner

ASICS has an exciting opportunity to join our Planning Department as Senior Wholesale Merchandise Planner! Reporting to the Head of Planning, this role will be responsible for enabling Wholesale Channel growth by planning future Sales, Margin and Inventory requirements for the ASICS Oceania Wholesale business. 

So, what goes into making that happen?

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across Wholesale, Sales, Product, Marketing and Supply Chain.
• Forecast sell out, intake and margin for an established group of customers in the Wholesale channel and ensure that the business has an actionable merchandise plan to achieve forecasted sales targets.
• Drive trade results; utilise sell out information to provide visibility on sales success to the end consumer within the ASICS Oceania business.
• Develop 3-5 year growth plans for major Wholesale accounts.
• Utilise Sell Out information to provide actionable proposals to Reps and Key Wholesale Accounts, to enable improved sell out to the end consumer.
• Continually evolve and improve planned information provided to the business to continue growing the Wholesale channel.
• Reporting and analysis.

That’s enough about us! Here’s what we hope to see from you:

• Prior experience in Merchandise Planning, ideally within a large global retailer 
• Ability to communicate and influence commercially
• Established ability to drive sales results with an informed and strategic lens
• Advanced level Excel capabilities
• SAP experience desirable
• Ability to think strategically and identify key opportunities and improvements
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
