Our client located in Virginia QLD is seeking to hire experienced Food process workers/packers to be part of their growing team.
 
About the Role:

• Morning shift - 6am, 7am, 8am start time | $33.05/hr + Super

• Afternoon Shift - 1pm or 2m start time | $38.01/hr + Super

Must have and core responsibilities:

• Experience in a manufacturing food industry

• Steel capped boots will be required

• Understanding food hygiene, HACCP and quality requirements

• Knowledge of Workplace safety

Duties and Responsibilities
 
Food Process Worker:

• Transfer the 15 kg dough from the mixing bowl to the kneading table.

• Knead the dough until it's ready for the dough rolling machine.

• Pass the dough through the roller before placing it onto the conveyor belt

Packer:

• Pack pastry shell products efficiently and securely using appropriate materials.

• Organize and clean the packing area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet packing targets and deadlines.

• Report any damaged or defective items to supervisors for further action.

Production Cleaner:

• Lifting and assembling of machineries. (Will require heavy lifting around 20kg).

• Disinfecting floors, walls, and surfaces to meet hygiene standards.

• Removing waste like food scraps and packaging to keep work areas clean.

• Collecting and emptying the rubbish bins from a designated area.

• Keeping machines, conveyor belts, and other tools clean to prevent contamination.
