Internal Sales Administrator

About the role

Berendsen Fluid Power is looking for an Internal Sales Administrator to join our Perth Airport team. If you love the phone, love following up, and genuinely enjoy making customers feel like a priority, this is a role where that pays off, through branch sales and GP targets you'll help drive.

You'll be a primary point of contact for our customers day-to-day, working closely with our BDMs and Sales Manager to prepare and progress quotations, expedite orders, and solve product problems. It's a proactive role, not a reactive one – we are looking for people who chase the follow-up, not wait for it.

No hydraulics background? If you've got a solid technical, mechanical, trade, or engineering-adjacent foundation, or you've thrived in technical B2B internal sales before, we'll teach you cylinders.

What you'll do

• Own the day-to-day customer relationship – proactive follow-ups, order check-ins, and genuinely helpful service
• Handle inbound enquiries and drive them to a resolution, not just a response
• Support BDMs and the Sales Manager in preparing quotations for review and approval
• Help customers select the right product using growing knowledge of cylinders, hydraulics, and our range
• Monitor and expedite back orders, keeping customers informed on ETAs
• Generate sales orders, purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documentation accurately
• Qualify inbound leads and hand off strong opportunities to the external sales team

What we're looking for

• A customer-first mindset – you'd rather solve a problem than just log a ticket
• Naturally proactive in following up
• Hydraulics/cylinders experience is an advantage, but strong candidates from mechanical, technical, trade, or related B2B internal sales backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Confident on the phone and in writing
• Comfortable with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, or a fast learner with tech
• Genuine attention to detail on quotes, orders, and documentation
