Logistics Planner/Operations - Night Shift

This role is an all-round operational position working as part of a small, close-knit night shift team. You will work alongside other logistic planners, drivers and forklift operators to support the smooth and efficient running of depot operations during night hours. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a hands-on approach to meeting operational requirements.

• Roster Sunday to Thursday inclusive 10.00pm to 6.30am, permanent full time

• Allocate freight, plan and manage staff workloads for drivers

• Supervise a small team of forklift operators

• Follow company procedures for storage, temperature, and inventory controls

• Keep records in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a transport environment, ideally in a logistics operational role

• Proven understanding of Fatigue Management, Mass Management, Quality Assurance and Chain of Responsibility

• Operations Schedulers Certification TLIF0006 or equivalent highly regarded or be willing to obtain

• Understanding of warehousing operations

• Sound Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail

• Previous (FMCG) logistics experience with refrigerated freight, fresh produce and palletised freight will be highly regarded

• High Risk Forklift Licence
