About the role:

Afternoon Shift - Sunday to Thursday from 6:15am to 2:15pm at our Yennora (NSW) facility.

You will be responsible for preparation of our high-quality nutritious food as per recipes prepared by our Executive Chef, Culinary Director and R&D Team. Your role contributes to the timely fulfillment of our production targets, while strictly adhering to Food Safety, GMP and Health and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the speciality section
• Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
• Fill up all paper documents
• Assisting with the management of health and safety
• Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
• Managing and training any Commis Chefs, Cooks or Apprentice Chefs
• Monitoring portion and waste control
• Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
• Report to Head chef end of the shift

Skills & Experience:

• Have a passion for serving meals at a high standard
• 3-5 years industry experience as a Chef de Partie
• Possess organisation and planning skills
• Works as an unsupervised self-starter
• Efficient team player who shows respect to co-workers and managers
• Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to be resourceful
