WHAT'S THE JOB?

• Stock handling: Receiving, checking, storing, picking and dispatching bulk foods and grocery items.

• Making things: Making mixed nuts, mueslis and more, packing grocery lines.

• Customer contact: Talking with customers, making sure that they get what they need.

• Deliveries: Use our refrigerated truck (can be driven on a car licence) to deliver to the Eumarrah Hobart shop, restaurants, cafes, IGA stores and other wholesale customers – as required, usually 1-2 days per week.

MORE ABOUT THE JOB

• We need to fill around 38 hours per week, so this could be a full-timer or it could be 2 part-time positions, or it could include a casual role as well.

• It includes all aspects of life in a busy warehouse, including receiving, picking, dispatching and deliveries. Can also include customer contact. 

• Strict adherence to Eumarrah policies, safe work practices, and waste reduction.

• Good understanding of handling food, including hygienic and careful handling of product.

• Observant: ensure product identification, quality and quantity are correct.

• You must be physically fit and safety aware (can regularly safely lift up to 25kg). 

• Driver's licence essential (manual useful).

• Reliable, friendly, trustworthy, ethical, respectful and respectable.

• Looking for 12+ months consistent employment, preferably much longer.
