About the Role

We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join our client's workshop in Brendale, QLD. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous CNC operating experience who is looking to develop their skills further. While programming experience is not essential, a willingness to learn and progress into machine setup and programming is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machine to manufacture and repair engineering components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work to specified tolerances.
• Conduct quality checks and complete production documentation.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Work closely with the workshop team to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience operating CNC machines is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn CNC setup, programming and further machining skills.
• Experience with Fanuc or Mazak controls.

Desirable

• Trade qualification in Engineering, Fitting & Machining or similar.
• Conventional machining experience.
