Kitchen Hand / Cook

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Kitchen Hand / Cook to join our team.

The successful applicant will assist in the preparation and service of nutritious, quality meals for students while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. They will demonstrate sound food preparation skills, a strong commitment to food safety and hygiene standards, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure the timely and consistent delivery of meals. Applicants who are experienced but not formally qualified are encouraged to apply and will be considered.

This is a permanent part-time position, 25hrs per week, including weekend work. The successful applicant must be available to work a variety of shifts Monday to Sunday from 6:30am to 7:00pm, in accordance with the roster.

The successful applicant will be required to hold (or be eligible to obtain) a Working with Children Check and comply with the school's child safe guidelines and requirements.

The school reserves the right to interview suitably experienced applicants, and should they meet the selection criteria, the school will be offering an immediate start.
