Senior Security Officer

We are seeking a motivated leader ready to take the next step in their career. As a Senior Security Officer (Grade 3), you will be provided training to be deemed competent to have general responsibility for the overall security on a given shift and be provided surveillance training.

Following successful completion of training, your primary role will be a Senior Security Officer (Grade 3) and you will be assigned the additional roles of Security & Surveillance Shift Manager (Grade 4) and Surveillance Operator (Grade 4) which will give you the opportunity to undertake these roles as required.

What you will bring to the role:

• Proven leadership, decision-making and conflict resolution skills in a regulated environment.
• Strong customer service focus, leading by example.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• As a Grade 3 Senior Security Officer, support the SSSM in meeting operational and business requirements each shift.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

In addition to maintaining all current licences and certifications, this role will require Monitoring Room Operator Licence or the ability to attain one.
