Steel Fabricators Wanted

About the role

We're looking for experienced Steel Fabricators to join our team at TTM Engineering in Mulgrave, NSW for both site and workshop positions. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and the opportunity to work on real, meaningful projects.

What you'll be doing

• Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate custom metalworks components, such as balustrades, staircases, small structural projects, architectural designs and artwork

• Operating a variety of fabrication equipment such as welding machines, grinders, and cutting tools

• Performing precision measuring, marking, and cutting of steel materials

• Assembling and welding steel components to create finished products

• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment

• Collaborating with the engineering team to find efficient solutions

What we're looking for

• Must be self-reliant, reliable, able to work solo or in a team. Communication skills are a must

• Able to manage time effectively

• Proven experience as a Steel Fabricator or similar role

• Prefer a qualified tradesman but willing to consider capable apprentices

• Skilled in the use of fabrication equipment such as MIG/TIG welders, grinders, and plasma cutters

• Experience in architectural preferred

• High problem solving skills

• Able to read and understand drawings

• Site and workshop experience

• Site tickets / fork ticket

• Able to mesh well with TTM’s culture
