Junior Digital Designer

+61 is the Creative Studio from TBWA x OMD x Bear Meets Eagle on Fire dedicated to world class creativity for Telstra. We are looking for a Junior Digital Designer who has a passion for creativity in customer marketing and cares as much for the small spaces as the large ones.
The role will be working in a tight, dedicated team responsible for the customer marketing activity for Telstra, one of Australia's most prominent brands. World class creativity is the ambition for all the brands' communications, and customer marketing is no exception.
The Telstra Best of Business Awards is an annual national awards program, and the longest standing business awards program in Australia with over 20,000 entrants each year. It is a demonstration of Telstra's support of Australian businesses and is highly regarded by the business community.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the design of all the Telstra Best of Business Awards communications to Entrants and Judges. You will collaborate with a junior copywriter, creative team and creative director to keep all the communications up to date and refreshed for the annual program. Primary comms channels are email, sms and website.
The Ideal Candidate:
You are looking for an entry-level design position and have an enthusiasm for the discipline with a desire to further your design understanding and craft. You will be curious about brands and visual communication. You'll have an excellent eye for detail.
You will have some experience in digital design and an understanding of digital channels and best practice.
You will be curious, proactive and use initiative, staying on top of design trends.This role requires an ability to work independently and collaboratively, be organised, and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop digital campaign materials (including but not limited to emails/edms, web, digital display, social, digital OOH)Provide annotated design files for agency and third parties to build and implementWork collaboratively with agency colleagues, clients and internal stakeholdersDistil and action feedback from multiple stakeholdersCommunicate and rationalise your work and provide feedback to creatives, account teams & developersMust be able to balance time, scope and quality of work
Experience / Qualifications:
> 1 year agency experienceThe role is open to junior designers and graduates keen to get into the world of advertising. We will provide guidance and training in a supportive team environment, the candidate should bring along their willingness to learn, take feedback and be proactive.Experience using Figma/similar, Adode Creative Cloud, Miro and workflow tools such as Monday and JIRA is preferred
