Role Description/Criteria

Position Details:

• Level 4 position of leadership (POL)
• Tenure: January 2027 to January 2030

Your duties will include:

• To expand the opportunities for students to engage in and develop skills and experiences in the Performing Arts including concerts, drama, musicals, choirs, orchestras, bands and ensembles.
• Encourage a culture of excellence in the Performing Arts through a climate of respect and achievement.
• To produce College Productions or delegate to other qualified person/s
• To expand co-curricular opportunities in the dramatic arts
• To coordinate and further develop the instrumental Music program

To be successful in this position you should demonstrate the following:

• Current valid VIT Registration
• Commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic Education.
• Successful teaching, mentoring and classroom practice experience. 
• Ability to foster and develop relationships with staff and the wider community.
• Ability to plan and manage resources effectively to support the school's educational programs. 
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with people at all levels and from varying backgrounds
• Sound organisational and administrative skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and facilitate dynamic teamwork
• proven capacity to work independently and effectively in the face of changing priorities, deadlines and pressure.
