We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bid Writer to join our growing Strategy team!
This role plays an important part in securing government funding that enables Berry Street Yooralla to continue delivering high-quality services and support across Victoria. Working closely with operational leaders and subject matter experts, you will develop compelling tender responses, grant applications and proposals that showcase our impact, capability and commitment to the communities we serve.
As Our Bid Writer, You Will
Develop high-quality tenders, grant applications and proposals that are compelling, compliant and aligned with organisational priorities.Partner with subject matter experts across the organisation to gather information, evidence and case studies and translate complex content into clear, persuasive submissions.Monitor funding and tender opportunities, supporting proposal planning and informed go/no-go decision making.Develop proposal content and win themes that demonstrate our expertise, innovation and community impact.Coordinate stakeholder contributions to ensure submissions are accurate, consistent and delivered within agreed timeframes.Ensure submissions meet governance and approval requirements while contributing to continuous improvement activities.Undertake market research and environmental scanning to identify emerging opportunities and inform future submissions.Contribute to post-submission reviews, reporting and knowledge-sharing activities that strengthen future bid performance.
About You
You are a strong communicator with exceptional writing skills, a strong eye for detail and a talent for translating complex information into persuasive, easy-to-read content.
You Will Bring
Demonstrated experience in bid writing, tender management, grants or proposal development.Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.Experience interpreting tender documentation and compliance requirements.Highly developed stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.Strong analytical and research capabilities.Experience within community services, disability, health, government or not-for-profit sectors will be highly regarded.
