Parliamentary Services is seeking an Assistant Electorate Officer to support Nigel Dalton MP, providing administration, constituent support, and community engagement in the Mackay electorate. This is a temporary, part-time position working 2 days per week, with the possibility of additional days as required.

Parliamentary Services is seeking a professional, organised, and community-minded Assistant Electorate Officer to join Nigel Dalton MP, Member for Mackay.
This role is offered on a temporary basis, working 2 days per week, with the possibility of additional days being available as required to support electorate office operations.
This position supports the Member and Electorate Officer in delivering high-quality services to constituents, engaging with local organisations, and assisting with the daily operations of a busy electorate office.
Key Objectives
Provide high-quality administrative and support services to the Electorate Office.Assist constituents and community groups by responding to enquiries and helping resolve concerns.Support the smooth day-to-day operations of the Member's office.
Your Role
Assist with diary management, coordinating appointments, meetings, and community events.Provide administrative support including correspondence, research, data entry, and record keeping.Respond to enquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing information and support.Maintain strong relationships with community organisations, agencies, and stakeholders.Support community engagement activities such as events, newsletters, and correspondence.Provide general office support including filing, supplies management, and documentation.Support the Electorate Officer
