About the role
About the role
We're looking for warm, reliable Assistants in Nursing (AINs) and Support Workers to join our community care team, supporting clients across Bronte and surrounding areas. You'll help older Australians and people with disability stay safe, independent and at home — where they want to be. Shifts are structured around a morning and afternoon visit (2 hours each). You'll build real relationships with clients and families, and work closely with our Community RNs and allied health team.
Key responsibilities
Personal care — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
Medication support, in line with care plans
Mobility support and use of aids
Meaningful activities and social connection
Household tasks — cleaning, laundry, meal prep
Shopping, errands and getting out into the community
Clear, timely documentation and reporting of any changes or concerns
About you
Compassion, patience and genuine respect for the people you support
Strong communication skills and a knack for building trust
Reliability and solid time management
A commitment to doing things properly and safely
Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent
Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
CPR, First Aid and Basic Life Support certificates
Manual Handling, Infection Control and Hand Hygiene certificates
Medication Assistance Competency (where applicable)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Police Check (issued within the last 3 months)
Working With Children Check (where applicable)
Up-to-date immunisation record (COVID-19, flu, and others as required)
Valid passport and Australian work rights
Benefits
Purpose-driven work — help clients live life on their own terms, in their own community
Genuinely person-centred care — no cookie-cutter checklists, just care that fits the person
A clinical team that has your back — work alongside experienced Community RNs, not in isolation
Real career growth — ongoing training and development, not just a box-ticking exercise
