• Base salary $111K-$122K (pro rata)

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to develop, plan, produce and deliver a business and trade program for ABC Australia and other ABC International and domestic platforms. 

This role can be performed from either Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.

The Job

About You

You possess highly advanced editorial skills with demonstrated experience in reporting on trade and business, complemented by an outstanding ability to source and analyse complex information and exercise sound judgement.

You'll also have:

• Highly developed editorial judgement and experience producing engaging and creative stories for Screen and digital audiences.
• Demonstrated experience or aptitude in developing innovative program formats for Screen and digital platforms.
• Highly developed organisational and problem-solving skills with proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively under pressure and meet deadlines and proactively identify issues and take appropriate action.
• Advanced team leadership skills with proven experience in mentoring and guiding employees.
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with relevant stakeholders.
• Demonstrated significant experience in media production, including management of budgets and resources.
• Demonstrated interest in understanding of issues affecting people of the Indo Pacific, and in particular Southeast Asia.
