Fire Alarm Technician

As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Installation, servicing, testing and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems

• Fault finding, repairs and commissioning of fire alarm systems

• Completing routine inspections in accordance with Australian Standards

• Preparing accurate service reports using electronic reporting systems

• Providing exceptional customer service while maintaining high safety standards

• Current QBCC Fire Protection – Fire Detection and Alarm Systems Licence

• Demonstrated experience servicing and maintaining commercial fire alarm systems

• Sound knowledge of Australian Standards (AS 1851 and AS 1670)

• Current Australian Driver Licence

• Blue Card

• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience with leading fire alarm systems including Notifier, Honeywell, Tyco, Ampac, Vigilant, FIP or similar

• Open Cabler Registration

• First Aid certification

• EWP and Working at Heights tickets
