About the role

Working as part of a professional kitchen team, you'll be responsible for preparing and presenting quality meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, consistency and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard
• Assisting with food preparation and service during busy trading periods
• Maintaining food quality, presentation and portion control standards
• Following food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements
• Assisting with stock rotation, storage and inventory control
• Supporting a positive and collaborative kitchen culture
• Contributing to the ongoing success and reputation of our food offering

About you

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• Strong technical cookery skills and food presentation standards
• Sound understanding of food safety, HACCP and kitchen hygiene requirements
• Knowledge of stock rotation, storage and waste minimisation practices
• Experience working in fast-paced hospitality venues
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
