Landscaper with Paving experience

About the role

Paving SA Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Landscaper with Paving experience to join our team in Salisbury. This is a full-time position for the right candidates offering a wonderful opportunity to contribute your expertise to diverse landscaping and paving projects throughout South Australia. In this role, you will be at the heart of transforming outdoor spaces, combining your landscaping knowledge with specialist paving skills to create stunning results for our clients. You will work on-site at various project locations, based in metro Adelaide

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare and clear Paving sites, including soil preparation, levelling and compaction

2. Install paving materials including pavers, rubble base, concrete haunching and grouting sand with precision and attention to detail

3. Follow designs and implement Paved areas such as garden paths, pathways around homes, borders and Driveways. Often working around drainage systems

4. Operate landscaping and paving equipment safely and maintain tools and machinery

5. Measure, mark and cut materials according to project specifications and design requirements

6. Collaborate with team members and project supervisors to ensure quality standards are met

7. Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised work site

8. Complete projects on schedule whilst maintaining excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in landscaping and paving work with demonstrated expertise in the Paving discipline

2. Sound knowledge of various paving materials and installation methods

3. Strong understanding of landscape design principles and site preparation techniques

4. Experience operating standard landscaping and paving equipment and tools

5. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions

6. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

7. Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to take direction

8. Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites

9. Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations in the construction and landscaping industry

10. Relevant qualifications or certifications in landscaping or paving (desirable)
