Paste Plant Operators

Doherty Corp is a privately owned and operated Australian based company that specialises in providing operational services and equipment to new and established mine pastefill systems throughout Australia and overseas.

We are currently seeking applications for Paste Plant Operators working a predominately 8 days on / 6 days off & 7 nights on / 7 days off 12-hour shift roster. The role is FIFO from Perth or DIDO option.

Rate starting at $60 per hour plus entitlements. Higher rate for the right candidate.

Essential Requirements:

• Experienced in operation of paste backfill plants.

• Basic computing skills.

• Strong work ethic and punctual.

• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.

• Ability to meet all site access requirements, including, but not limited to; Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Operation of Paste Backfill Plants.

• Housekeeping & minor maintenance of the Paste Backfill Plant.

• Paste sampling & testing.

• Surface management of the underground reticulation system.

• Assist with underground pastefill tasks as required.

• Other duties as directed by the Paste Fill Coordinator.
