Product Engineer (Full Stack)

Sydney | $165k-$180k + ESOP | Product-Focused Startup

We're partnering with a well-funded Australian startup building a data and AI platform at the intersection of property, insurance, and analytics. The business is tackling a complex, real-world problem by transforming large volumes of fragmented documents and datasets into actionable insights for customers. 

The Opportunity This is a genuine full-stack role where you'll work across product development, backend systems, data infrastructure, and cloud services.

You'll join a small, highly collaborative team and work directly with technical leadership, product, design, and data science to shape both the product and engineering direction.

Key projects include:

• Building customer-facing applications using React and TypeScript
• Developing APIs and backend services with Ruby on Rails
• Designing and optimising PostgreSQL databases
• Developing data pipelines and analytics capabilities
• Building AI-powered features and insights
• Working on infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, and scalability
• Taking ownership of features from concept through to production
