About the role
We're looking for a motivated Workshop Lead to take ownership of our busy manufacturing workshop. This is a hands-on role where you'll work alongside the team, operate machinery, maintain quality standards and help ensure jobs are delivered on time.
Key responsibilities
Lead and support the day-to-day running of the workshop
Operate CNC machinery
Operate edgebander and panel saw
Cabinet assembly and final fit-off
Maintain quality control across all projects
Coordinate workflow to ensure production deadlines are met
Keep the workshop organised, safe and efficient
Assist with loading and unloading materials when required
About you
Extensive experience in a cabinet making or joinery workshop
Strong CNC machining experience
Experience operating edgebanders and panel saws
Excellent cabinet assembly skills
Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Strong organisational and communication skills
A positive attitude and willingness to lead by example
Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential)
