Truck Fleet Maintenance Coordinator/Mechanic

Lawson Port Logistics Pty Ltd, Melbourne's largest Sideloader operation, is a dynamic organisation offering clients Wharf container transport. 

Due to rapid expansion, we are currently seeking a qualified experienced Service/Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for providing outstanding service while managing the maintenance, damage repairs and statutory obligations for the entire fleet of vehicles, trailers and side loaders owned by Lawsons.

The role will involve some of the following duties:

• Responsible for managing the servicing and repairs of all Lawson truck and trailers.

• Service bookings with truck/trailer repair coordination.

• Diagnosing/Fault finding of trucks and trailers.

• Take out emergency/onsite repairs (light mechanical).

• Record keeping and logging of all mechanical works completed.

• Maintain NHVR Compliance standards.

To join our team as a Truck Fleet Maintenance team, the successful applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Ideally you will have at least 1 year successful service management experience preferably in the truck or automotive dealership.

• A HC/MC drivers' licence will be highly desirable

• Have an eagerness and ability to provide exceptional service to our customers

• Strong communication skills are a must.

• Effective decision making and problem-solving skills, with an ability to think outside the box

• Mechanical experience or qualification will be necessary. 

We will supply full training support You will learn from an experienced Fleet Manager and be exposed to a broad range of duties whilst being part of a dynamic culture.
