Join our busy waterfront kitchen!

Waterline Boathouse is looking for a reliable, hardworking Cook to join our established kitchen team in Forster.

We are not looking for a Head Chef or someone wanting to redesign our menu. We have a well-established menu and kitchen operation, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in consistently preparing quality meals, working efficiently, and being a dependable member of the team.

About the Role

As a Cook, you'll be responsible for:

• Preparing and cooking meals to our established recipes and standards

• Maintaining consistency and quality during busy service periods

• Assisting with food preparation and stock rotation

• Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained

• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and efficient

• Working closely with the kitchen team to deliver excellent service

• Assisting with opening and closing kitchen duties

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

• Hardworking and reliable

• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen

• A team player with a positive attitude

• Organised and able to follow established systems

• Proud of producing consistently high-quality food

• Willing to learn and take direction

• Available to work weekends, every day during school holidays, and most public holidays (excluding Christmas Day) – this is an essential requirement.

Experience

Previous experience as a cook in a café, restaurant or similar commercial kitchen is preferred.

A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is an advantage but not essential.
