SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – SYDNEY CBD – ESTABLISHED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FIRM – HYBRID FLEXIBILITY (JOB ID 1270)

Our client is a well-established professional services firm with a strong presence across Australia, delivering accounting, tax and business advisory services to a diverse portfolio of SME and corporate clients. With a strong focus on people development, technical excellence and collaboration, the firm continues to grow its Business Advisory division.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced accountant ready to step up, take responsibility for client delivery, and work closely with Managers and Directors in a structured and supportive team environment.
The Role:
Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for a range of entity types
Manage and support client relationships with direct communication and queries
Assist Managers and Directors with advisory and technical accounting matters
Work on budgeting, reporting and business performance analysis
Apply accounting standards and tax legislation to compliance work
Identify opportunities to support clients with value-added advisory services
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of work
Use accounting systems including cloud-based platforms and practice software
About You:
3+ years experience in Australian business services & tax within public practice
CA or CPA qualified, or completed CA program
Strong understanding of accounting standards and taxation compliance
Experience with software such as Xero, MYOB, APS or similar
Strong communication skills with confidence working with clients and stakeholders
High attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
Proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
