West Beach Parks is a holiday, sport, and community destination, situated along 1.2 km of picturesque Adelaide coastline. Our 135-hectare precinct in West Beach offers something for everyone – from accommodation and a premium golf park with 2 golf courses, to a marina and world-class sports facilities.  Visitors can enjoy an array of recreational opportunities suited to all ages and interests.

Guests staying with us can choose from our two accommodation properties, including Discovery Parks – West Beach Parks South Australia’s largest and much-loved Holiday Park with 126 cabins for different budgets and 333 caravan and camping sites.  Alternatively, The Retreat at West Beach Parks offers a range of deluxe self-contained shacks with 76 in total and 3 safari tents.

The Role…
Reporting to the Reservations and Revenue Manager, the Reservations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Reservation Sales department, ensuring excellent customer service, accurate recording and processing of accommodation reservations and the maximisation of sales.  The role will also support the Reservations and Revenue Manager (RRM) with rate strategy and revenue management. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

•     Ensure all reservation requests, changes and cancellations received by telephone, mail or online are processed in a timely manner.
•     Ensure that all guest bookings are accurately entered into the property management system by following correct procedure.
•     Maintain a positive sales approach within the team to maximise overall accommodation revenue.
•     Monitor market conditions and competitor activity, highlighting revenue opportunities to the RRM 
•     Ensure that every interaction reflects the brand’s promise of a seamless, memorable, and enjoyable experience.
•     Lead, inspire, support, motivate, train and mentor Reservations Sales Agents.

You Are...
A positive and enthusiastic team leader with a passion for customer service. You have a proven track records of achieving and exceeding sales targets and have the ability to effectively up sell and close a sale at every opportunity.

To be successful in the role you will have: 

•     2–3 years of hotel reservations or front-office experience,
•     Demonstrated experience leading or supervising a team.
•     Strong sales and customer service skills, including upselling and converting enquiries into bookings.
•     Understanding of OTAs and distribution channels, such as Booking.com and Expedia, as well as direct hotel bookings.
•     Experience with a reservation or booking management system
•     Strong computer skills, including experience in Microsoft Office.
•     Availability to work across a 7-day roster.
