About the Role

The Labourer is responsible for undertaking general labouring duties at the recycling centre facilities.

• Sort and clear waste materials on the unloading floor or picking station

• Perform heavy, unskilled, manual labour in the maintenance and repair of plant & equipment

  
  

• Perform unskilled, routine work as a member of maintenance or repair crew, including lifting, loading, digging, moving, scraping, raking, sweeping and cleaning duties

  
  

• Assist skilled trades employees in maintenance and repair work

  
  

• Follows the internal procedures of work

  
  

• Any other duty as reasonably directed

  
  

• SEQ responsibilities as specified in MAN002 SEQ Management Plan

  
  

• Carry out all duties in line with Bingos policies, procedures and processes as amended

Requirements

• Indigenous Candidates only

  
  

• Must have been incarcerated or with a criminal record. (Preferably, having been released from custody in the past 12 months.)

  
  

• On the job training provided

• Physically fit

• Follows instructions well
