Planning Analyst

Are you a highly analytical and detail-oriented retail professional looking to build your career in Merchandise Planning?
 
We are looking for a Planning Analyst to join the Seed Heritage team. In this role, you will play an integral part in managing the allocation of new, replenishment and core product across our Australian and international businesses, ensuring our stores have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time.
 
THE ROLE:

• Managing allocations of new, replenishment and core product across the store network
• Analysing sales and stock performance across departments, styles, sizes, states and stores
• Coordinating national stock consolidations and movements between stores and states
• Supporting international stock movements when required
• Reviewing warehouse stock to identify opportunities to improve stock flow and minimise idle inventory
• Setting and maintaining minimum and maximum stock levels across key styles
• Preparing weekly product performance reports and providing insights to the Planning team
• Supporting markdown and repricing activities
• Working closely with Planners, State Managers, Warehouse and Store teams to understand and respond to stock needs
• Visiting stores and the warehouse to build relationships and develop a strong understanding of stock management
• On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• A tertiary qualification or equivalent in fashion, business, economics or finance is preferred; open to recent graduates with a focus on fashion or business studies.
• Entry-level candidates welcome; exposure to retail environments is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including filters, sorting, formulas, pivot tables, and vlookups.
• Thrives under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines with precision.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail, high organisational, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Capable of multitasking and adept at problem-solving.
