Dayforce Suite - Rapid Deployment Consultant - NEW TODAY

A Dayforce Rapid Deployment Implementation Consultant is a specialised professional responsible for getting clients up and running on the Dayforce Human Capital Management (HCM) platform in an accelerated, predictable timeframe.
This role is based in the Sydney CBD and is hybrid.
This is an initial 12 month contract.
Core ResponsibilitiesThe consultant acts as a bridge between the client's operational leaders and Dayforce's technological architecture across a streamlined project lifecycle: Accelerated Requirements Discovery: Facilitating efficient workshops to gather employee, payroll, and workforce management (WFM) data using standardized readiness checklists. Template-Driven Configuration: Instead of starting from scratch, the consultant adapts pre-existing Dayforce rulesets (such as basic pay policies, time calculations, and onboarding hubs) to match the client’s workflows.Data Migration & Integration Validation: Ensuring core employee records, tax configurations, and historical balances are accurately audited and imported into the platform.Rapid User Enablement & Testing: Assisting clients through condensed User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and leading training sessions for system administrators to ensure smooth adoption from day one. Production Cutover & Support: Managing the critical transition window to push the system live, followed by standard hypercare (post-go-live) support.
Key Workstream AreasDepending on the consultant's focus, they typically specialize in one or more core Dayforce suites:Workforce Management (WFM): Configuring shifts, scheduling constraints, time clock punch policies, and labor deployment rules.Payroll & Benefits: Setting up regional tax profiles, deductions, earnings codes, and automated benefits eligibility flows.HR & Talent: Provisioning core employee profiles, org hierarchies, and mobile self-service portals.
Common Technical & Soft Skills RequiredSystem Knowledge: Deep expertise in the Dayforce HCM ecosystem (often requiring formal Dayforce partner certification).Consultative Agility: Ability to guide clients away from unnecessary over-customization and steer them toward Dayforce's standard, out-of-the-box system efficiencies.Technical Basics: Proficiency with SQL database scripts or XML transformations for data alignment and interface tweaking.
