Glass Polisher

Job Summary:
We are a glass manufacturing factory seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Glass Polisher / Factory Hand to join our team. You will be responsible for the final finishing of glass products, ensuring high quality before they are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Polishing: Operate glass polishing machinery to finish edges and surfaces to company standards.
• Manual Polishing: Perform hand-polishing and buffing to remove scratches or minor defects that machines cannot reach.
• Glass Cleaning: Thoroughly wash and clean glass products to ensure they are free of dust, streaks, or residue.
• Loading & Despatch: Assist customers and drivers with loading glass products onto vehicles safely.
• Factory Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the factory floor is tidy and safe.
• Material Handling: Safely move and stack glass sheets using appropriate lifting equipment or manual techniques.

Requirements:

• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move glass products (manual handling is a core part of the role).
• Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for spotting scratches, chips, or imperfections on glass surfaces.
• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and a strong work ethic.
• Safety Conscious: Ability to follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
• Experience: Previous experience in a glass factory or polishing role is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude.
