Job Description

Location: Outreach – Smile Squad, Ferntree Gully & Ringwood Clinics

Employment Type: Part-time (0.6 FTE), ongoing

Compensation: From $30.79 per hour + 12% Super + Salary Packaging

At Each, we believe in the power of care to transform lives. We’re looking for a passionate Dental Assistant to join our Oral Health team and help deliver person-centred, accessible, and effective dental care to our community.

What you’ll be doing

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll be the heartbeat of our clinical team—providing chairside support, promoting oral health education, and ensuring our environment meets the highest standards of safety and care. You’ll work alongside dentists, oral health therapists, and other professionals to create a welcoming and respectful space for every client.

Your day-to-day will include:

Providing clinical assistance in line with public dental standardsSupporting oral health promotion and educationMaintaining infection control and sterilisation proceduresCollaborating with a multidisciplinary teamCommunicating with clients and stakeholders with empathy and professionalismWhat you’ll bring

You’re someone who thrives in a team, communicates with warmth and clarity, and brings a high level of clinical competency to your work. You’ll also have:

Certificate III/IV in Dental Assisting with recent practiceExperience in a range of dental procedures, ideally including public dental servicesSound knowledge of infection control guidelinesIntermediate IT skills and strong organisational abilityA commitment to inclusive, safe, and respectful careWhy work with us at Each?
