Practice Nurse

Join Our Team in Dubbo We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our busy medical centre in Dubbo on a part-time basis. As a Practice Nurse, you'll work closely with our GPs and healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care across treatment room nursing, chronic disease management, preventative health, and nurse-led clinics. About the Role In this role, you will: Deliver quality nursing care within the treatment room environment. Administer vaccinations and assist with immunisation programs. Perform clinical procedures including wound care, ECGs, spirometry, dressings, plastering, and suture removal. Assist with chronic disease management including Health Assessments, GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements, and Reviews. Support nurse-led clinics and patient education initiatives. Conduct health checks and identify opportunities to improve patient health outcomes. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records. Assist with infection control, stock management, and accreditation requirements. Work collaboratively with GPs and the broader healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Essential Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Bachelor of Nursing qualification. Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Desirable Previous experience in General Practice or Primary Care. Experience in chronic disease management and health promotion. Minimum 2 years' experience providing direct clinical nursing care.
