Assistant Accountant

OPUS Campers are a premium adventure travel and off road brand with a portfolio of exciting, market leading camper trailer and off road hybrid caravans.  

We strive to be the best in all we do (products, service, brand, company culture), and seeking an assistant accountant to support our Financial Controller;

• Reconciling daily, monthly, and yearly transactions

• Accounts Payable; keeping a record of invoices and ensuring timely payment.

• Accounts Receivable; following up on overdue invoices.

• Key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters, in particular the Sales and Customer Service Teams

• Purchasing and Warehouse Support

• Procurement of office supplies

• Providing basic IT support and addressing inquiries

• Establishing new accounts and assisting with customer relationship management (CRM) implementations

Qualifications & experience

• Relevant degree qualification e.g., Accounting, Commerce

• Desire to undertake CPA/CA. 

• Experience using an ERP system.

• Advanced Excel skills. 

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Attention to detail and highly accurate.
