You will be responsible for:
Managing multiple tenders concurrently, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Reviewing and analysing tender documentation to identify project requirements, risks, opportunities and value management initiatives.
Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates using first-principles estimating techniques.
Attending tender briefings, site inspections and stakeholder meetings as required.
Liaising with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive and comprehensive pricing.
Contributing to tender programs, methodologies and bid strategies.
Supporting project teams with cost planning, cost management and trade procurement.
Preparing and coordinating high-quality tender and submission documentation.
You are an organised, analytical and results-driven professional who takes pride in producing accurate work and meeting deadlines. You will have:
5+ years’ experience as a Commercial Construction Estimator, ideally across commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methodologies, costs and industry standards.
Experience using EstimateOne.
Proficiency with estimating software such as BarTender, Cubit or Buildsoft, together with strong spreadsheet skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities.
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction or a relevant trade background.
At Joss, we believe our people are at the heart of our success. We offer the opportunity to work with an experienced and collaborative team on a diverse range of projects, while supporting your professional development and career growth.
We value different perspectives and experiences and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. If you are looking to join a high-performing business where your contribution is recognised and there is genuine opportunity to grow, we would love to hear from you.
