High Voltage Electrician

HV ELECTRICIANS | BOWEN BASIN | 7/7 ROSTER

Experienced HV Electricians required for Bowen Basin mine-site roles on a 7/7 D/N roster.

About the role

Downunder Group Solutions is seeking experienced HV Electricians for rostered positions within the Bowen Basin.

Responsibilities include:

• Electrical maintenance and fault-finding on heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Diagnosing faults using electrical schematics.
• Planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance.
• Electrical installations, generators and cable work.
• Completing all work safely and in accordance with site procedures.

To be considered, you will require:

• Certificate III in Electrical Fitting or equivalent.
• Current HV switching ticket.
• Mobile mining plant maintenance experience.
• Current Standard 11.
• Current Coal Board Medical.
• Current Queensland driver’s licence.
• Mine construction experience is advantageous.
