Casual Barista

We are seeking a Barista/FOH staff member to join our growing team at Evoke Bakery in Curtin, Kippax Fair and Spence. This is a casual role with the opportunity to work in a vibrant bakery environment. As a Barista/FOH, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting in the daily operations of the front-of-house team and supporting the Customer Service Manager.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages to customers
• Assist the front-of-house team to ensure efficient and friendly customer service
• Manage the daily operations of the front-of-house, including opening/closing procedures, cash management, and stock control
• Ensure the café maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff
• Provide feedback and support to the front-of-house manager to help improve the process and procedures
• Assist with other duties as required to support the smooth running of the café

What we're looking for

• Experience as a barista, with a strong understanding of coffee preparation and service will be highly desirable but not necessary
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to efficiently handle daily operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to help motivate the team
• Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability on weekends and public holidays
