Job Description

We are seeking experienced and motivated leaders to join our restaurant team in North Lakes, Australia. We're looking for a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, and Shift Leaders who are passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences while driving operational excellence. • Lead, mentor, and motivate restaurant staff to achieve performance goals and maintain high service standards
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and facility maintenance
• Manage staff scheduling, time-off requests, and workforce planning to ensure adequate coverage during all service periods
• Monitor and control food costs, labor expenses, and other operational costs to achieve profitability targets
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations at all times
• Train and onboard new team members, providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback
• Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally, resolving issues to maintain customer satisfaction
• Manage cash handling, reconciliation, and financial reporting procedures
• Analyze sales data and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
• Communicate effectively with upper management regarding performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for staff and customers
• Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a restaurant or food service environment
• Proven track record of successfully leading and developing restaurant teams
• Strong knowledge of food safety, health codes, and restaurant compliance requirements
• Proficiency with restaurant POS systems and point-of-sale technology
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and manage P&L responsibilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams
• Problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in high-pressure situations
• Customer service excellence and commitment to guest satisfaction
• Experience with inventory management and cost control procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Conflict resolution and mediation skills
• Proficiency in restaurant management software and reporting tools (preferred)
• Experience in multi-unit or fast-casual restaurant environments (preferred)
• Knowledge of local Australian food service regulations and standards
