Excavator Operator - Civil Construction

We are currently seeking experienced Excavator Operators for newly-obtained plant machinery (15T through to 30T) with a willingness to take on the challenges of subdivision and council work across several locations on the Sunshine Coast.

Well-rounded and multi-skilled individuals, that can add a significant contribution to the advancement of these works - while demonstrating the ability to operate with accuracy and meet production targets - are required. GPS experience will also be favored.

Other duties include:

• The ability to work in conjunction with site Leading Hand/Foreman, and assist decision making in with other Senior Management;

• Identify obstructions and influences disruptive to project advancement, and act accordingly within project guidelines and company policy and procedure;

• Ability to interpret plans;

• Ability to maintain and carry-out basic service of assigned machinery;

• Strong understanding of Health, Safety Quality and Environmental procedures.

Skills/qualifications:

• 5-7 years' experience in a subdivision environment;

• RII tickets for Plant Machinery required to operate;

• GPS exposure (desired);

• White Card.
