Mount Scopus Memorial College is a co-educational Jewish School from Early Learning to Year 12 across three campuses; St Kilda East, Caulfield South and Burwood. You do not have to be Jewish to work at Mount Scopus, and we welcome applicants from diverse cultural backgrounds.
The College is seeking a suitably experienced person to the part-time position of Co-curricular Music Coordinator (Secondary). This is a (0.20) FTE part-time position on a fixed term contract commencing from 12 October 2026 to 17 September 2027 located at our Secondary School in Burwood. The role and function of the Co-curricular Music Coordinator (Secondary) is to plan, oversee, curate and implement the College’s co-curricular music program for the Secondary School.
The successful candidate will;
Hold relevant Tertiary qualifications in Education, Music or Music Performance
Have experience, energy and passion for making music exciting, accessible and rewarding for secondary school aged students,
Display a proven track record of musically directing high quality performances
Possess proficiency in conducting choirs, instrumental ensembles, orchestras and bands in rehearsal and performance
Possess exceptional time management, organisational and planning and team management skills
