Chef de Cuisine

We are looking for a Chef de Cuisine to lead our team at a new winery, opening in the coming months.

Do you enjoy great produce, farm to table practices and genuinely thrive on setting up an operation as if it is your own?

If so, we're on the hunt for a skilled & motivated Back of House leader to join our team at a new winery venue, just outside San Remo in beautiful regional Victoria.

This is an exciting hands-on leadership opportunity to showcase your skills and passion. This venue is a blank canvas, and you will have complete autonomy on menu design, ingredient sourcing and function. The winery will have a strong farm to table style offer, wood fired cooking techniques and seasonal produce as its corner stone. Working alongside our highly skills team serving seasonal house-made specialities and driving great customer focussed food.

What you'll bring:

• Solid experience running a high-volume kitchen or similar venue

• Exceptional understanding of seasonal produce practices and fine dining cuisine

• A leader in food safety, people management & food trends

• Strong attention to detail

• Experience with baking and produce harvesting / pickling / bottling

• A team-first attitude and the ability to keep cool under pressure

• Genuine passion for great food and great hospitality
