The Role

Gilmore College is ideally seeking a passionate and committed Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) Teacher who is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and learning and supporting students to achieve their potential. The successful applicant would use student data to inform practice, deliver engaging programs that respond to diverse learning needs, and demonstrate a sound understanding of explicit teaching, whole-school instructional approaches, literacy and numeracy strategies.

We are looking for an educator who ideally builds positive relationships with students, colleagues, families and the wider community and who works collaboratively to support the ongoing development of the HASS Learning Area and whole-school priorities. A commitment to supporting students across a range of abilities, including those requiring intervention or extension, is highly valued.
