Absolute Waterfront Newport – Experienced Dispensary Technician/Pharmacy Assistant

Watsons Chemists Newport is a brand-new independent boutique pharmacy located in the newly developed Newport Marketplace. Situated on the waterfront in Newport and surrounded by a comprehensive health precinct, IGA supermarket, hair and beauty salons and popular cafes and restaurants; this is a location with a view to capture anyone’s attention!  

Due to rapid and continued store growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic, driven and caring individual to join our team as an Experienced Dispensary Technician/Pharmacy Assistant.  

The positions available is part-time (24 hours per week) and the roster will involve three weekday shifts with night-time closes 6:30pm. 

Desired Attributes 

• Community pharmacy experience (Minfos experience highly regarded) 

• S2/S3 trained applicants or holders of certificate III in community pharmacy highly regarded 

• Deliver exceptional front shop customer service  

• Be willing to undertake training to and sell Gold Lotto products 

• Have a caring and empathetic nature with a passion for health and wellness. 

• Be able to work independently and as a member of the pharmacy team 

• Exceptional communication and people skills 

• Demonstrate a great work ethic; be reliable, honest, hardworking, and accountable for results 

• Driver’s license, reliable car and willingness to assist with occasional local deliveries if needed 

• Assist with some Webster packing
