About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital leadership role in delivering high-quality clinical care while promoting dignity, independence and quality of life for every resident.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering safe, evidence-based, person-centred nursing care

• Leading and supporting Team Leaders, Physiotherapy Aides and Personal Care Workers

• Coordinating clinical assessments, care planning and medication management

• Responding confidently to clinical emergencies

• Supporting the Clinical Care Coordinator and Care Manager in achieving best practice standards

• Acting as Senior First Aid Officer and Chief Fire Warden while on duty

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements

• Promoting a positive culture of respect, safety and continuous improvement

About You

Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in delivering exceptional care?

To be successful, you will need:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

• Minimum one year’s post-registration nursing experience

• Current CPR Certificate

• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Full Australian working rights

• Sound clinical knowledge and assessment skills

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• A genuine commitment to resident-centred care

• Competent computer and clinical documentation skills

Desirable

• Previous Residential Aged Care experience

• Postgraduate qualifications in Aged Care or a related discipline

• Knowledge of the AN-ACC funding model
