The Role

Zylo have teamed up with a well-respected long serving Brisbane based law firm. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join their esteemed team in the heart of Brisbane. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in commercial litigation, with a particular focus on estate disputes.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing strategic legal advice to clients on complex commercial litigation matters.
• Handling a diverse caseload of estate disputes, including will challenges, trust disputes, and probate litigation.
• Conducting thorough legal research and analysis.
• Drafting and filing court documents, including pleadings, affidavits, and briefs.
• Representing clients in court proceedings, including mediation, arbitration, and trial.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
• Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers.

Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience in commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated expertise in estate dispute resolution.
• Strong understanding of Queensland estate laws and procedures.
• Excellent drafting and advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex litigation matters.
• Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
