Manual Machinist

Welshpool, Perth WA | $40–$45 per hour, depending on experience

Hardchrome Sales is looking for an experienced and capable Manual Machinist to join our team in Welshpool.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on machinist who enjoys variety, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is confident working across multiple machining disciplines.

The Role

You will be working on a varied range of machining and repair work, using traditional manual machinery and equipment. We are looking for someone who can work independently, solve problems, and consistently produce high-quality results.

Your experience will ideally include:

• Operating manual lathes
• Operating manual milling machines
• Working with large grinders
• General fitting, machining and workshop duties
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Measuring and checking finished components to specification
• Working across a variety of machining and repair applications
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop

• Experienced in manual machining
• Competent across multiple machining disciplines
