SAP Commerce Technical Lead

Your Impact

Join Asahi Beverages' Digital team and take ownership of a critical SAP Commerce Cloud platform that powers our B2B digital commerce experience. Reporting to the Commercial Applications Product Manager, you will provide technical leadership across platform operations, delivery governance, architecture and continuous improvement, ensuring our commerce ecosystem remains secure, scalable and reliable.

Working across cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our digital commerce capability while driving strong operational outcomes and exceptional service performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction, governance and operational health of the SAP Commerce Cloud platform across storefront, Backoffice, APIs, integrations and supporting services.
• Ensure platform stability, security, performance and supportability through effective release management, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Review and guide technical solution designs, identifying risks, dependencies and operational impacts before deployment.
• Partner with project and delivery teams to support impact assessments, testing, cutover planning, production verification and transition to support.
• Drive service providers and delivery partners to meet expectations across incidents, releases, service levels, documentation and knowledge management.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Integration, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure and other Enterprise Applications team to deliver safe and sustainable technology outcomes.
• Champion platform currency, vulnerability remediation, patch management and compliance with technology standards.
• Foster a collaborative "one team" culture across internal stakeholders, vendors and delivery partners.

About You

• Extensive experience working with SAP Commerce Cloud, including composable storefront or Spartacus implementations.
• Proven experience in a Technical Lead or similar role within a complex SAP Commerce environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, integrations, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and application support operations.
• Experience working in large-scale, high-availability environments with strong operational governance and service management disciplines.
• Demonstrated success leading vendors, managed service providers and offshore delivery teams.
• Strong technical design and solution review capability, with the ability to balance business outcomes, risk and operational support considerations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear recommendations.
• ITIL certification or equivalent service management experience, with SAP, security, cloud or architecture certifications highly regarded.
