In Home Support Worker

Our Ozcare Cairns Aged Care at Home Branch is looking part-time In-Home Support Workers to support our clients across the Atherton area.Your Role As an In-Home Support Worker, you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:  Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans Undertaking domestic duties including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation Providing support duties such as shopping, transport etc Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care Your Attributes We're looking for a person who has what it takes to make a difference in our clients' lives. You have: A warm and caring nature A genuine interest in helping clients live their best life in their own home Positive attitude towards health and wellbeing The flexibility to work a varied roster How You'll Benefit You'll become part of the Ozcare family and you will receive: NFP Salary Packaging and entertainment and meals card totalling $18,550 per year Uniform and laundry allowance Paid kms and travel time between clients Mobile phone supplied Employee Assistance Program Role Requirements Current Police Screening Certificate A reliable roadworthy vehicle, with current registration and comprehensive insurance Current Queensland driver's licence Current First Aid and CPR Certificates Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Hepatitis B, Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
