BC Coatings is a leading Australian manufacturer of industrial and decorative coatings, supplying customers across Australia and overseas. We are looking for a motivated and organised Marketing & eCommerce Assistant to support our growing business.

This is a varied hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys marketing, social media, website management, content creation and working as part of a busy team. The position offers flexibility and would suit an experienced administrator with marketing skills, a marketing graduate or someone looking to build their career in digital marketing and eCommerce.

About the Role

Working closely with management, you will assist with:

Marketing & Content Creation

• Creating and scheduling social media content

• Assisting with email marketing campaigns and newsletters

• Preparing brochures, flyers, product literature and promotional materials

• Coordinating product photography and marketing content

• Supporting marketing campaigns, new product launches and brand initiatives

Website & eCommerce Management

• Maintaining and updating our Shopify website

• Creating and updating product listings

• Managing website content, images, pricing and promotions

• Assisting with online customer enquiries and website improvements

• Monitoring website performance and identifying opportunities for improvement

Administration & Business Support

• Assisting with general office and marketing administration

• Maintaining customer and product information

• Coordinating branded merchandise, trade shows and promotional activities

• Liaising with suppliers and service providers when required

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Highly organised and reliable

• Confident using computers and Microsoft 365

• Experienced with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

• Comfortable learning new systems and technology

• A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail

• Creative, proactive and able to work independently

• Professional and friendly with a positive attitude

Highly Regarded

The following experience will be viewed favourably:

• Shopify or other eCommerce platform experience

• Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software

• Previous marketing, administration, retail, customer service or eCommerce experience

• Photography and content creation experience

• Experience managing business social media accounts
