About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our amazing team at Orthodontics Wagga Wagga. This is a full-time role based in our practice in Wagga Wagga, NSW. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Specialist Orthodontists and Oral Health Therapist.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments prior to patient appointments

• Assisting Orthodontist and Oral Health Therapist with procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and providing other support

• Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

• Managing patient records and scheduling appointments

• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

• Adhering to all health, safety, and infection control protocols

What We're Looking For

• No dental experience necessary. Comprehensive training on the job

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients

• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilisation

• Willing to complete Certificate III and IV in dental assisting

• Enthusiasm for providing exceptional patient care

• Team player
